How long will it take to design my website?

We work quickly but depending on the complexity, anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months. This also depends on how fast you’re able to provide us with the content (information, images, etc.) we need.

How much do you charge for a website?

This all depends on your type of business and requirements so the best way to get an accurate quote is to contact us! We work with businesses large and small and will work with you to accommodate your budget. Every client’s needs are different so your quote depends on various factors such as: the level of design customization, the number of pages needed, whether you’re selling products, what add-on features you need (events manager, restaurant menu, newsletter, social media setup), whether you need Search Engine Optimization services, and so on. Generally, a simple, responsive and updatable WordPress website for a small business could fall in the $1500 – $2500 range — a more customized website with lots of features and advanced Search Engine Optimization services for a medium-sized business could fall in the $2500 – $4,500 range — whereas a heavily customized website developed with eCommerce solution for high volume stores – or – a real estate company’s website integrated with IDX Broker Platinum – would fall in the $4,500 and up range. Also, if you already have a website but just need Search Engine Optimization, product or food photography, graphic design work (logo, brochures, business cards), or a business / real estate video ‘à la carte,’ call us to get a custom quote.

Do we need to meet face-to-face?

Generally, we like to schedule an in-person consultation with our local clients but if you are located in another city, state or even country, then we have no problem communicating via email, phone or skype. Thanks to the internet, all of the information needed can be reciprocated electronically.

Should my website be based off a template or built from scratch?

This all depends on your business – your requirements – and budget. Generally, for smaller businesses who don’t have a large budget, a theme-based website is perfectly suitable. There are thousands of beautiful WordPress themes to choose from – and many have advanced plugins and capabilities. We can customize a theme to your liking. You can even sell products online and update your own website. We also offer websites built from scratch – this may be more suitable for larger businesses who need more control, flexibility and customization. If I already have a website, can you redesign or host my site?

Yes, most definitely! Many of our clients have come to us, asking for their current website to be redesigned and / or hosted with us. We offer a low monthly hosting plan as well as competitive hourly rates on maintenance & updates.

Can I just get photographs or video taken even if I don't need a website or already have one?

Of course! We aren’t just designers and developers – we are here for your professional photography and video needs as well. We are skilled at lighting and editing – and specialize in food and product photography. In addition, we do business, portrait, and family (pets included!) photos as well. Lastly, our high quality videos can spice up your existing website and make your business stand out from the competition.

How will I be able to update my website?

We can develop a custom online content management system for you where you can update individual sections (products, menu, services, blog, etc.) of your website at anytime. Whether your site is built from scratch or based off a WordPress theme, this option is available to you. Alternatively, if you have a small static website consisting of just a few pages and will only wish to make changes very infrequently, then it may be more cost-effective to simply ask us to carry out these changes for you for a low hourly / monthly fee.

Who owns my website, logos or photographs once they are completed?

You do. Should you wish to use another web design or web hosting company – you are completely at liberty to do so and you will still retain the copyright on our designs and images.

How do payments work?

Each project is divided up into several phases such as Design, Development, Marketing, etc., therefore payments are handled in installments. We require a 50% deposit before starting each phase of the project and the remaining 50% payment after the completion of that phase.

Can I switch to a different hosting company?

Yes, of course. While continuity with one person / company can be really beneficial and we’d of course love for you to stay with us, if at anytime you wish to change hosting companies, you are free to do so without any obligation to us. Your satisfaction is our priority.
